While it grieves us, we know that it is good to be taking steps of utmost precaution in order to care for and respect one another, especially to protect those most vulnerable to this contagion. The COVID-19 pandemic is growing and we are now in a time that is unprecedented and where we as a congregation need to cooperate with the World Health Organization and other government directives calling for extreme measures to avoid social contact in order to contain further spreading of the Coronavirus. We anticipate that these conditions will continue at least until public schools are open again, or until we feel that it is safe to open our doors again as a public gathering place for people. I would like to assure you that our love for you, for our entire congregation, and the larger community we serve, is also the motivation for our decision. The church office will be open Monday through Thursday form 9-12noon for the coming weeks. Starting next week, Sunday worship service and other gatherings during the week are postponed until further notice. We made this decision in consultation with other leaders of the Church, and confirmed by the Governor of the State of California and the World Health Organization. ![]() I am writing to share with you the decision of an emergency Town Hall meeting we had after church on Sunday March 15 th, 2020. ![]() Grace and peace to you in the name of Jesus Christ.
